Support for Jair Bolsonaro

Minister of Justice and Public Security in the Bolsonaro government since 2019, he left the post on 24/04/2020, accusing the president of interfering in the Federal Police. On 04/10/2022 he declared support for Bolsonaro in the runoff ("Against the PT's project of power, I declare, in the runoff, my support for Bolsonaro"). In 2026 he joined the PL and was elected governor of Paraná with the support of Flávio Bolsonaro.
